apparently there are a couple of ways..one involves ripping it open and soldering a bigger flash drive in place and the other involves reinstalling linux and changing some stuff around I don't understand to recognize the SD slot as additional HD space (which can apparently be easily upgraded as newer larger and cheaper SD cards come out
